Getting into the school is not based on academic ability, though it does help, it is based on creative flair, business acumen, potential, skill set and ability to succeed. There is no formal test or qualification at the end of the course, it is all about learning form the best and starting in out in business with one of our ‘dragons’ supporting you.

To apply for the school you need to fill out a basic application form and come and see our admin team for a brief informal interview, they will then arrange if they see fit for you to pitch to our lecturers who will in turn decide whether you can pursue an education on the course or not. This judgement is based on gut feel, the business idea pitched to them and the knowledge & research of the market you will be entering.

Our school is unique, all of of lecturers are business men and women who have proven  themselves in business in the UK. They all come from business backgrounds where their experience has seen them recognised as key business leaders in Scarborough.

So if you want to learn from the people who have been there and done it all before their is no better place in the UK.

How to get on our courses

Getting on our courses are as easy as a normal college or university application, our courses are not free and you cannot get goverment funding or loans, nor are they particularly cheap but their is an option to reduce your payments in order to gain the investment of the lecturers who will pay for your fees and future business practices in exchange for shares of your future business(s). This works by placing yourself under the wing of one of lecturers, before you start your course you are invited to pitch to our lecturers a bit like a famous TV show where they will highlight the individuals that they would like to invest in.
